Case-Context Display

Family name and service date render at the top of the glass before any card is tapped. The staff member confirms they're on the right case; the family sees their loved one's name, not a stranger's. Reduces the wrong-case-charge error to near-zero.

Offline-Mode Indicator

Connectivity state is always visible in the top bar, green dot when synced, amber when queueing locally. Payments accepted offline sit in Initiated state and transition on reconnect.

Audit-Trail Handoff

On successful tap, the payment record is stamped with terminal ID, location (GPS), and staff member ID, the same audit trail any other surface produces.
